Chocolate.\" align=\"middle\" height=\"320\" width=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Courtesy of my Grandma.<br \/>\nk<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;color:#ff0000;\">Shortbread<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">1\/2 cup plus 2 T butter<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">1\/4 cup sugar<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">1 1\/4 cup flour<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">Cream together, press into 8 inch pan, and bake at 350 degrees farenheit for about 20 min or until golden.  Let cool a bit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;color:#009900;\">Caramel<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#009900;\">1\/2 cup butter<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#009900;\">2 T corn syrup<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#009900;\">1\/2 cup brown sugar<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#009900;\">1\/2 cup sweet and condensed milk<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#009900;\">Mix in a saucepan and bring to a boil.  Let boil for 5 min, stirring constantly.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#009900;\">Pour overtop shortbread.  Let cool before putting topping on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#cc0000;\">Topping &#8212;<\/span> <span style=\"color:#009900;\">melt 2\/3 cup chocolate chips, and spread on top.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let the Christmas baking begin!!!!
