Blonde Brownie

I got this from Christy. It’s like the white chocolate brownie from Moxies…only BETTER. Her recipe was for double these amounts, but these amounts work great for me in a 9×13 pan.

INGREDIENTS:

DRY

1 Tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 cup chocolate chips

OTHER

3/4 cup margarine
1/8 cup hot water
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

DIRECTIONS:

Mix dry ingredients together. Add other ingredients one at a time.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

  1. This recipe is good… but to say it’s better than Moxie’s is an insult to their fabulous white brownie. I posted this on your old website and now I am posting here so no one else will be disappointed like I am right now. I expected something at least as great as the Moxie’s one – sorry to say it’s was very far from there. Boyfriend loved it though – he took 3 pieces one after the other, so it’s not bad for sure – but he doesn’t know the Moxie version, he’s never been there, that’s my girl’s night out place.

6 on 10. It’s a good brownie recipe but it is quite far to reach even the ankle of the Moxie one.

  2. I hear you…except that the last three (THREE!) times we have gone to Moxie’s, the Blonde Brownie has been stale and blah. I had a friend try one for the first time and she was utterly disappointed.

The last time I was with Honey, and the Brownie was not even warm, and half of it was rock hard.

So in my experience, the Moxie’s brownie has fallen from grace 🙂
